Pending the post position draw, which I think will be the determining factor for how I bet the derby, I have to say I have the following picks:

1.)Big Brown

2.) Colonel John

3.) Behindatthebar, Tale of Ekati, Gayeg (one of these three)

Note that Pyro IS NOT seen here (ignoring his last failure, his workout was not too inspiring).

Sorry there hasn’t been much activity as of late. It’s been a busy month in graduate school. I am now officially convinced. You would be dumb to bet against this horse. Could beat the hell out of pyro any day of the week.

Doing pretty good in the handicapping contest today (Right now 2nd out of about 500). For the Florida Derby I’ve picked 12 Big Brown for the derby, followed up by 1 fierce wind.

That’s 12-1.

Sorry Folks,
Due to the weather, I haven’t been able to get picks up in time. The only thing I will say is that I don’t believe that Pyro will win the LA Derby. I’m going to have to go with #8 Yankee Bravo. Should be interesting. Hopefully there won’t be a terrible winter storm next weekend.

Hello Loyal Readers,
Last week was a bit tough, though it wasn’t like we were off by a lot. I haven’t been able to get a hold of the replays just yet, but would be especially interested in watching the first race. But, it’s all done now. I will be heading to the races on Thursday this week, so If any races jump out at me I”ll be sure to post them. This saturday 3/8/08 I’ll be handicapping Fairgrounds.
